The Garlic Clubb planted its first garlic in Quebec’s Eastern Townships in October 2015, just outside of Montreal. Initially, we directed our business towards the Seed Garlic market and grew 17 different varieties. Our goal was to establish a full range of garlic cultivars from the 10 main garlic groups. In 2016, we started experimenting with the production of Black Garlic. We developed a product which we were thrilled with and began marketing it,... and it took off!
From cultivating fresh garlic to the production of Black Garlic bulbs, our company grew and evolved. Today, The Garlic Clubb is Canada’s largest seller of Black Garlic, available in stores coast to coast.
While garlic bulbs were once the mainstay of our company, and we have since shifted our focus to Peeled Black Garlic Cloves and Black Garlic Paste. These culinary delights are targeted to the professional chef and dedicated foodie markets — ideal for those who are familiar with Black Garlic's splendour, and want to include it in their cuisine in an easy to use format.
In 2026, we formed a NEW partnership with August Harvest who now supply us with their premium fresh garlic, used to produce our black garlic products.
